Atlanta doberman pinscher club WAE At Perry show cancelled

The Atlanta Doberman Pinscher Club is cancelling our Specialties and Working Aptitude Evaluation (WAE) that were scheduled for June 20-21 in conjunction with the 2020 Peach Blossom Cluster show in Perry, GA. This decision was made due to precautionary concern for the common good and public health in light of continuing uncertainty arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.

We as a club extend the utmost respect and concern to every individual and club involved in dog show events who are having to make difficult decisions in these times. We look forward to clear sailing for our 2021 Specialties and WAE and wish everyone the best.

Sincerely,

The Membership of the Atlanta Doberman Pinscher Club

About the WAE

The Working Aptitude Evaluation (WAE) is developed and overseen by the Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA). This testing and certification program is aimed at recognizing those Doberman Pinschers that display the temperament traits desirable in the breed in accordance with the DPCA’s breed standard, thus demonstrating the character of a stable companion and resolute protector.

Any AKC-registered Doberman Pinscher (including ILP) of an allowable color, 18 months and older is eligible for evaluation. Your Doberman must have an AKC or ILP number to register for the WAE.

Z factor Doberman Pinschers (white Dobermans) are eligible with proof of spay/neuter.
