Throughout her long career, Doris-Jean Molin was a leading contributor to our breed and to our club. She was an AKC Breeder of Merit, breeding for decades under the Mikadobe kennel name, the oldest active champion-producing Doberman Pinscher kennel in America. She was a past Board member of both the ADPC and the DPCA. To recognize her many years of service to our club, the Atlanta Doberman Pinscher Club Board was pleased to name her an honorary Board member in 2018 and an honorary lifetime member in 2025. We are dedicating our 2026 Specialty Shows at the Crossroads of Georgia Cluster in May to her memory, with a special one-time memorial trophy for Best of Breed winner to be awarded at the Friday show.
Doris-Jean’s legacy will live on in the many outstanding dogs she bred, including her Best In Show heart dog, Dante, pictured above.
Her family asks that any donations in her memory be sent to the Doberman Pinscher Health Foundation, https://dobermanhealth.org/pages/donate.html.
